Saturday in Design 2025

Delivering a Wellness-Driven Design Experience at Saturday in Design.

On Saturday 6 September, Corsika had the opportunity to lead and deliver a memorable activation for Cosentino as part of Saturday in Design, one of Australia’s most influential design events connecting showrooms, designers, architects and brands across the industry.

From concept to execution, Corsika managed the event strategy, partnerships and creative direction — resulting in a high-impact installation that celebrated wellness, material innovation and community within the design industry.

A Creative Concept Built Around Wellness and Materiality

The central idea behind the activation was “Resonace”, an immersive art installation designed to bring together light, texture and natural materials in a way that invited visitors to pause, engage and experience surfaces differently.

Corsika led the creative concept and collaboration with partners, working closely with Pazzi Marble and design studio 13 Interiors to bring the structure to life.

Throughout the day, guests were captivated by the installation “Resonance”, a cube, crafted entirely from Cosentino’s Sensa Cristalo slabs and illuminated by over 20,000 LED lights, symbolising human connection. Visitors were invited to activate the cube, illuminating its surface and experiencing design as an interactive art form. “Resonance” emphasized the emotional connections design can evoke.

By partnering with Saturday inDesign, Cosentino’s Melbourne showroom was transformed into a hub of creativity and wellbeing. The event showcased the power of collaboration across industries, creating a holistic experience where design, art, and wellness intersected.

Cristalo Resonance, later received industry recognition as Runner-Up of The Project 2025 at Saturday in Design.

Managing Strategic Partnerships

A key part of Corsika’s role was identifying and coordinating partners that aligned with the wellness-driven theme of the activation. Through careful curation, we brought together brands that contributed experiences, content and hospitality throughout the day.

Technogym

Technogym helped activate the wellness aspect of the event by providing:

  • Two pop-up fitness equipment demonstrations

  • A personal trainer leading a stretching workshop in the morning for the guests

  • Coffee and breakfast in partnership with Lavazza and Il Mercado.

This created an energising start to the day for designers and visitors moving through the showroom circuit.

Her Run

Community collective Her Run contributed several elements that enhanced the event experience:

  • Curated goodie bags for attendees

  • A chef and canapés for the wellness talk

  • A guided run around the showroom

Their involvement reinforced the event’s focus on movement, wellbeing and community.

Thermomix

Thermomix activated the lunchtime experience with:

  • A live cooking demonstration

  • Healthy lunch & Canapes.

The interactive cooking component encouraged guests to stay longer and engage with the space.

Pazzi Marble & Kelly Donougher, 13 Interiors

Pazzi Marble & designer Kelly Donougher played a key role in the design and fabrication of the cube installation ‘Resonance’, translating the creative vision into a physical structure that became the centrepiece of the activation.

The afternoon concluded with a panel talk around “What does wellness mean to you?” A discussion, bringing together leaders from across industries: Kelly Donougher from 13 Interiors, Anzari Atik, Neuroscientist & member of Her Run, Amadeus Schipperheyn, Pazzi Marble Director, Technogym and Thermomix were all part of this exceptional panel led by our Cosentino showroom manager Caroli Machado, and explored together how design can impact mental and physical health, with insights on how spaces can be intentionally created to support overall wellbeing.

Event Results

The activation delivered strong engagement and measurable outcomes:

  • 250+ attendees visited the Cosentino showroom on the day.

  • 180 new leads collected

  • 10+ press mentions and articles

  • Extensive social media exposure across the design community

Coverage included features and mentions across InDesignLive, including the official Saturday in Design event wrap.

The installation’s recognition as Runner-Up of The Project 2025 further amplified the visibility of the collaboration between Cosentino, Pazzi Marble and 13 Interiors.

Bringing Community and Design Together

Saturday in Design is about more than showroom visits — it’s about creating moments of connection within the architecture and design community.

By blending material innovation, wellness experiences and strong brand partnerships, Corsika delivered an activation that stood out within the event program and attracted hundreds of visitors to the Cosentino showroom.

From creative direction and partner sourcing to event management and on-the-day delivery, the project demonstrated how thoughtful collaboration and design-led storytelling can elevate a brand presence within industry events.
